If you really love your children like you say you do, then you’ll willingly change your lifestyle, behavior, attitude, and friendships, to create the right environment for their proper development.

How much do you love your children? Most parents probably say they love their children more than anything else. But how true is that statement? Answer a few questions and find out.
1.    Do you love your children enough to spend time with them, and by your example, show them the right way to live their lives?
2.    Do you love them enough to abstain from habits and addictions that will lead to personal pain and destruction in the not-so-distant future?
3.    Do you love them enough to swap negative friendships for good ones, so your children will not be subjected to the same downward-cycle of relationships that have kept you from fulfilling your destiny in life?
4.    Do you love your children enough to be faithful to your spouse, and treat her with the love and respect she deserves, so they learn the stability of a righteous home and marriage?

Some of the most destructive influences in childhood development are: negligent or absentee parents, addictive parental examples, negative external relationships (bad friends), and divorce.

We can’t wave a magic wand and make every negative influence go away, but if we work diligently to change the environment within our home, our children’s future will reflect those changes in many positive and rewarding ways. And that’s where love comes into play. If you really love your children like you say you do, then you’ll willingly change your lifestyle, behavior, attitude, and friendships, to create the right environment for their proper development.

Need a few examples? Start here: If your friends are drunks – get new friends. Unless of course, you don’t mind your children growing up to become addicts, as well. Statistics show that children who live under the influence of alcoholism, are likely to become alcoholics themselves. Is that really what you want your children to become? No? Then you better make whatever changes are necessary early one, and stay consistent, if you hope to positively impact their future-lives as adults.

Need more proof? Look at the statistics, and make your own assumptions. Negative relationships lead to destructive social behavior in children.
•    Physically abusive relationships teach your children a lifestyle of destructive or even violent behavior.
•    Unfaithfulness to your spouse will teach your children to be unfaithful to theirs.
•    Parents who lie, cheat and steal, can expect their children to grow up and live by the same shameful rules of engagement.

What’s the secret to parental success? Train your children to do what’s right, to live right, to choose right relationships, to Read the rest of this entry »

Everybody has struggled or failed …

But don’t fear, there is hope for you. Where can this amazing hope be found? In a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. That’s right. He is REAL, and He REALLY WILL turn your life around, if you let Him DO IT. Why don’t you ask Him today?

Do You Know Jesus?

Salvation

Jesus said, “I am come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord changes your life forever. You become born-again and your life becomes more abundant.

What Does It Mean to Be Born-Again?

“Except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

Being born-again means that you are saved from eternal judgment, delivered from your sins, set free from the penalty of your sins, and redeemed by Jesus to have new, fulfilling life.

II Corinthians 5:17 declares “if any man be in Christ he is a new creature (or creation) old things are passed away and behold all things become new.”

Once we become born-again, God sees us as new creatures because all of our sins and transgressions that separated us from God are now covered by the precious blood of His Son, Jesus. Righteousness gives us the privilege to stand before God and make our requests known unto Him through prayer. We have fellowship or communion with Him — a personal relationship with the God of the universe.

How Can You Become Born-Again?

The process for being born-again is found in Romans 10:9: “If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead thou shall be saved.”

First, believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that God raised Jesus from the dead, and that Jesus Christ died and shed His blood so you could be cleansed of your sin.

Then, confess that Jesus Christ is God, and ask Him to forgive you for your sins and take control (be Lord) of your life.

Make the decision to be born-again today!

To begin your new life with Christ, pray this prayer with me.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I recognize my need for You and I ask You to come into my heart and change my life. I know I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me for all my sins and make me clean. I invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life to be my Savior and Lord. Thank You for Your forgiveness and salvation today. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer from your heart, then you have just become born-again!

Please write us and share that great news, and so that we can pray for you and send you some information that will help you grow in your new walk with Christ.

May God Bless You!

Special thanks to Bishop B. Courtney McBath

Here it is, Fall! I love the smell that is in the air, the cooler days and nights and most of all the beautiful fall colors. Fall is one of the seasons that makes you distinctly aware that change is coming. Somehow it makes me more aware than at any other time of the year, that change is happening in life as well as in Nature. Not only do we see the effects in the natural, but it also awakens a sense of what is happening in the spiritual. Time is marching on, seasons come and go. I am quickened in my spirit to draw closer, go deeper, and work harder than I have ever worked before to advance my own relationship with Christ and to make others aware of their need to do the same. My desire is to allow the changes that need to happen, to transpire.
